File extension apu seems to also be somehow related to Audacity, a cross-platform software for recording and editing sounds.
This file type was either used in some of the older versions or the program, or is a mistype for the actual aup project files used by Audacity.
You may try Audacity, as you may actually have .aup file and not .apu.
Unfortunately, we do not know about any possible conversion for this type of .apu files at this time.
