The ASCET Product Family is a development environment from ETAS for embedded systems. Its .axl files contain archived ASCET information represented as xml.
An AXL file is part of the ASCET file workflow and is used to preserve ASCET data in an archive. The format is closely tied to ASCET and is not intended as a general interchange format. ASCET is available for Microsoft Windows.
Open the file with the ASCET Product Family on Microsoft Windows. Use the archive or import function provided by ASCET rather than opening the file in a general XML editor, because the archive may contain ASCET-specific data.
If the file must be moved to another ASCET representation, use the appropriate archive, import, or export function in the ASCET Product Family. Converting it with a generic XML tool may not preserve the ASCET data.
