With the programs like the TEXT to IMAGE converter it should be possible to convert ASCII art files as JPEG images. Perhaps this could be also done through print to PDF function and afterwards exporting the .pdf to JPEG, but a utility that can perform direct asc to jpeg conversion is most likely more convenient.
