Software that can be used for conversion of crypt12 file type to txt format.
Special utilities such as the WhatCrypt Tools should be able to help you with a conversion / recovery of various WhatsApp message backups (for example .crypt12 fron June/July 2016) and save the chat history as .zip file that contains the chats in a HTML format that you can view using any web browser.
Once you get the HTML file, you can further export it and save it in a plain text format, but this will remove all the formatting. That's pretty much the only viable way to achieve crypt12 to txt conversion.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
