Software that can be used for conversion of lvm file type to xls format.
LVM files are just renamed CSV files, so you can import them to any spreadsheet editor, including MS Excel and use them for making .xls file, i.e. essentially achieving lvm to xls conversion. If there are any problems with import of the data, you have to pick the CSV (comma separate value) format as source.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

Files with lvm extension are mainly encountered as measurement files from LabVIEW.
XLS
Files with xls extension are best known as spreadsheets from Microsoft Excel. A spreadsheet is basically a grid of cells sorted in rows and columns. Each cell can contain text, numeric or formula data. Excel XLS spreadsheets can be opened in most other similar programs, such as OpenOffice.org Calc.
