Possible software with support for converting of mp3 files to gp5 file format.
You cannot take an MP3 song and convert it directly to Guitar Pro file (.gp5, gpx etc.). You would have to tab it yourself in the program, or another alternative music notation software.
Some viable, but not perfect, alternative would be to generate a MIDI file from the MP3 with some mp3 to midi converter and import the resulting file in Guitar Pro.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

MP3
The mp3 file extension is traditionally used for one of the most common types of compressed audio files, MP3s, which you can playback using almost any media player.
An mp3 file extension can be also used for simple text files that contain saved game scores from some Bridge card game by Masterpoint.
Files with mp3 file extension may also be found as encrypted files affected by TeslaCrypt 3.0 variant that first appeared in February 2016.
GP5
Files with gp5 extension can be usually found as projects from Guitar Pro tablature software. GP5 file contains saved work in progress.
