Find a software converter able to convert msdvd files to avi files.
Windows Movie Maker supports export of its projects (.msdvd) only as Windows Media Video files (.wmv) and it sadly does not support other formats, such as AVI.
You will have to convert the exported .wmv files as .avi videos using of the available wmv to avi converters. No 3rd party software supports Movie Maker projects, so this seems to be your only course of actions.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
