RIS citation format (.ris) is ASCII based, so you can open it in any text editor and copy paste the text to Microsoft Word or similar word processor and save it as .doc document. This might actually be the most straightforward solution for ris to doc conversion because it is unlikely some converter for this exists. Of course you can try some of the tools designed to manage and edit citations (JabRef).
