Software that can be used for conversion of vlc file type to wmv format.
VLC player is mainly meant for playback of media files and not conversion. however it does posses a modest conversion capability and can convert .wmv files.
If you actually found a .vlc file, i.e. file with vlc extension, that is just a renamed playlist file (in most cases .pls or .m3u). You do not need to convert these to anything else, just rename the extension should you need to use it in other media players.
Such files do not contain any multimedia data, just references to them, so no multimedia conversion is possible.
