There may be some software available that could directly convert Excel spreadsheets as VCF contacts files, i.e. perform xlsx to vcf conversion. However, you can export your XLSX spreadsheets as CSV files using Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet program and then use any of the available csv to vcf converters to get your contacts file.

XLSX

Files with xlsx extension are s used by Microsoft Excel for its workbooks (spreadsheets) in Office Open XML format. XLSX is the latest spreadsheet format used by Excel with the adoption of XML formatting first used in Office 2007. While older xls files were in proprietary binary file format, xlsx spreadsheets use a somewhat altered XML scheme.

Files with vcf extension are almost always contacts saved in vCard format. Typically used various Personal Information Managers or e-mail clients (for example Outlook), as well as exported from mobile phones, for the purposes of sharing or migrating contacts from one device to another.

Files with vcf extension may also be found as special DNA sequence data files saved in the Variant Call Format.
