Adobe Captivate, from Adobe, uses CP files for project files created by older versions of its electronic learning authoring software.
A CP project can contain the presentation content and authoring data needed to continue editing the project in Captivate. Since version 5, Adobe Captivate has used the cptx file extension for its default project files instead.
