ClarisWorks Painting is the drawing component of ClarisWorks. A CWPT file stores artwork created in that component as a bitmap image.
Claris developed ClarisWorks for Apple Macintosh computers and later Mac OS X systems. ClarisWorks and the CWPT format are legacy technology and are no longer actively developed, so current systems may require compatible older software or an emulated environment to access these files.
Open a CWPT file with ClarisWorks and use its Painting component. On a current macOS system, ClarisWorks may not run natively; an older compatible Mac or suitable emulation may be required.
Open the file in ClarisWorks, then use the application's available export or save options, or copy the drawing into another graphics application and save it in a supported image format.
