The .cwwp file extension belongs to ClarisWorks, a productivity suite developed by Claris for Apple Macintosh computers. A CWWP file is one of ClarisWorks' native document types and is used for word-processing documents.
The file can contain the document's text and associated formatting. It is intended to be handled as a ClarisWorks document rather than as a plain-text file.
ClarisWorks is legacy software and is no longer maintained. The format is therefore uncommon, and current Apple macOS systems may require a compatible older environment to use it.
Open the .cwwp file with ClarisWorks on a compatible Apple Macintosh or Mac OS X system. Because ClarisWorks is legacy software, it may not run directly on current macOS versions; an older compatible Mac environment may be required.
When the file opens in ClarisWorks, use its Save As or export command to create a document in a supported word-processing or text format. Some formatting may be lost during export.
If ClarisWorks cannot open the file, conversion may require access to an older compatible installation first.
