The dao file extension is associated with some optical disk backup tools, like UltraISO, ISOBuster etc.
Disc-At-Once or DAO for CD-R media is a mode that masters the disc contents in one pass, rather than a track at a time as in Track At Once. DAO mode, unlike TAO mode, allows any amount of audio data (or no data at all) to be written in the "pre-gaps" between tracks.
The dao file suffix is used for Duplicate disc created with CD/DVD Duplicator software. Its used by many CD and DVD duplicator systems that can duplicate several discs at a time.
Use Iso Buster to read content of file or any burning software capable to write iso image file to CD/DVD disc.
Possibly can be exported to other formats.
