The DRM Delivery Message format was developed by Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB for distributing content protected with digital rights management (DRM).
The dm file extension was used for SIS or SISX installation files distributed through the Nokia Ovi app store. A dm file can contain a mobile application, media clip, ringtone, or other data protected with DRM.
SIS.DM and SISX.DM files are SIS and SISX files with added DRM data and a changed file extension. The format is associated with older mobile DRM workflows.
