The dt file extension is used for data files in older Macintosh operating system versions.

Unlike extended attributes, which are typically limited in size, a fork can be of arbitrary size, possibly even larger than the file's data.
As far as we know, these files were part of the original Macintosh OS, you cannot access them manually.
A conversion of this particular *.dt file type seems to be very unlikely.
