Files with dwz file extension are in almost all cases compressed AutoCAD drawings. Basically a ZIP-compressed DWG file.

The dwz file extension is mainly related to AutoCAD and used for standard DWG drawings compressed in ZIP compression.
DWZ and DWG file format have become de facto standard for interchange of CAD data between CAD/CAM applications.
Use AutoCAD to view content of the *.dwz drawing files.
Simply rename *.dwz to zip and extract the content.

The dwz file extension was also used in older program DVD MovieFactory from Ulead. A *.dwz file contains created project. Most likely no longer used as Ulead was acquired by Corel and the program discontinued.
Use DVD MovieFactory program to open files with dwz extension.
The dwz extension files are not convertable.
