- The fast Filmkey Encoder application that works with quite any QuickTime file. This includes MPEG1, MPEG3, MPEG4 files. The protected files can be distributed by download from any webserver.
- The free Filmkey Player that the user can install on Macintosh and Windows computers.
- A central license server managed by filmkey.ch that handles the key. The key is not stored by the user and the Filmkey Player does not allow to copy the movie.
