File extension flx seems to be nowadays best know for its use for FLIC, a variant of AutoDesk FLC format that contains some changes from the standard. Probably used in animation software.
Autodesk 3ds Max and similar software should offer users tools to handle .flx files.
Perhaps some sort of conversion or export is possible using 3ds Max.

File extension flx is also used in DataFlex relational, 4GL Object Oriented database programming language for one of its default file types.
A .flx file used in DataFlex programs contains some kind of compiled data. The source code for these programs can be restored by using The Database Managers decompiling service.
Likely only useable in DataFlex.
Unfortunately, we do not know about any possible conversion for this flx file type, it may not even be possible.
