File type category:

ILHT files are associated with Safari, the web browser from Apple. They contain a reference to a particular website rather than a copy of the website or a saved webpage.
On Mac OS X and macOS, Safari uses this type of Internet location file to navigate to the stored address. It serves a similar purpose to the URL file format on Windows and is not intended to be edited as a document.
On macOS, double-click the .ilht file in Finder. If Safari is associated with the file, it opens the stored web address in Safari.
An ILHT file does not contain webpage content, so it has no meaningful document conversion. To preserve the destination in another form, open the file, copy its web address, and save that address as a bookmark in Safari or another browser.
