The LD2 file extension is associated with Lingoes, a dictionary and multi-language translation software, developed by Lingoes Project.
The .ld2 files contain compiled source of language dictionary (LDF file). It is the default dictionary format used in Lingoes. These files represent a single dictionary (like ENG → GER) which can be imported to Lingoes.
Each installed dictionary has its own file created in /dict folder in form of LDX file.
More dictionaries can be downloaded from Lingoes website, or other internet sources.
