The msf file extension seems also be used for some kind of list file generated by certain Sony recorders, for example the PCM-D50. You can these lists as MSGLIST.MSF files.
The msf file contains information such as the order of folders, playback order of audio files and recording date and time.
If user connects the recorder to the computer, the MSGLIST.MSF files are displayed, but you should not delete or change these files. If these files are changed, they may get broken or the recorder may not work correctly.
You probably cannot access these files manually.
