File extension pano seems to be nowadays best known for its use for a special panorama photographs created using the Camera and Photos app available on Windows Market since Windows 8.
It is basically a merging of several pictures made using the Panorama function. The format is based on the Open Packaging Convention package.
Likely meant only to be opened using the default Camera and Photos app.
Possibly can be exported to standard graphics format using the Camera and Photos app.
