The pig file extension was throughout the year used for several game data formats from different games. These usually contain some sort of graphics, like models, textures etc. These file types just share same extension but are usually complete different internally.
Lately, PIG archives could be found in Pirates of the Burning Sea computer game.
You cannot open this file type manually, it is accessed by the game automatically.
These games files cannot be converted to anything else. However, sometimes modding.
