The .ppsxenx file extension identifies a ppsx encrypted using Egis. The file retains the contents of the original PowerPoint slide show while protecting them from access without the required decryption credentials.
Egis is Windows software that can encrypt and decrypt files. After Egis decrypts the file, the resulting PPSX file can be opened as a PowerPoint slide show. The encrypted file should be handled through Egis rather than renamed to change its extension.
Open the file on Microsoft Windows with Egis, using the password required when it was encrypted. Egis should decrypt the file before it is opened as a presentation.
After decryption, open the resulting PPSX file with Microsoft PowerPoint. If Egis is not available, the file may not be usable because ordinary PowerPoint cannot normally decrypt an Egis-encrypted file.
The .ppsxenx file cannot be meaningfully converted while it remains encrypted. First decrypt it with Egis to obtain the original PPSX presentation.
After decryption, open the PPSX file in Microsoft PowerPoint and use PowerPoint's save or export options to create another presentation format.
