The intuitive interface and simplicity of operation made it an efficient and widely used design tool. In late 2003, Kubotek Corporation acquired the CADKEY technology and replaced the CADKEY product line with KeyCreator. Many CADKEY users felt CADKEY delivered a great deal of capabilities, and were very happy staying with the CADKEY product. Even though the product has not been enhanced in some time, to a great number of CADKEY users it still fulfills their CAD needs.
