The Globe variant encrypts user data and appends the .raid10 file extension to the affected files. It also changes the wallpaper on the Windows desktop. The variant appears to have been inspired by themes from the Purge movies.
Emsisoft Decrypter for Globe, from Emsisoft, is designed to decrypt files affected by Globe ransomware. The decryptor runs on Microsoft Windows. After successful decryption, the files can be used with the programs associated with their original file types.
A .raid10 file cannot normally be opened because its original contents are encrypted. On Microsoft Windows, use Emsisoft Decrypter for Globe to attempt decryption.
After decryption, open the recovered file with the program that supports its original file type.
