The rekt file extension seems to be related to one of the ransomware called RektLocker.
When installed it will encrypt files using AES encryption and then append the .rekt extension to them.
You can use Michael Gillespie's Hidden Tear Brute Forcer to try and get the decryption key for their files.
You will need to decrypt the files before you can convert the original.

File extension rekt seems to be also used by a variant of HiddenTear ransomware by author known as Anthony.
Much like other similar ransomware, it encrypts and renames affected files and demands payment in bitcoins for the decryption key.
HiddenTear decrypters may be of help here.
You can only convert the original data once you have decrypted .rekt files.
