This is a session-control file, not an audio recording. Its associated MIME types include application/sdp and application/x-sdp. The format belongs to older RealAudio streaming workflows and may depend on a compatible multicast server and network.
Open the file with RealPlayer on Microsoft Windows. If the file describes a multicast session, RealPlayer must also be able to reach the specified stream and network.
Do not expect the file to open as a standalone audio recording: it is a description used to start or join a stream.
A RealAudio scalable multicast .sdp file is not an audio file, so it cannot be meaningfully converted to MP3, WAV, or another audio format. It describes access to a stream rather than storing the stream's audio data.
