- specialty: direct support for CRC32 in the filename (common for anime releases; for example "MyFile [45DEF3A0].avi")
This helps you to check and ensure that your files are OK and not corrupted.

QuickPar is a free utility for creating Parity Volumes (PAR version 2.0 and PAR2) using the Reed Solomon algorithm and for verifying and repairing files that are corrupt or disnamed. Creating PAR2 files, it can create split versions of the source files, split into sizes (exact multiples of the block size).
It can be used to verify that a set of files have not been corrupted, or for reconstructing corrupt files, if you have sufficient Parity Volumes to match the missing or corrupt files. QuickPar automatically recognises incomplete versions of files created by yDec that end with "(nnn).tmp".
The user runs the QuickPar exe file and installs it into a folder on the PC. The first time the application is run, it shows an Options window where the user configures all the settings. The user also sets to open PAR and PAR2 files with QuickPar, either in Windows Explorer or any application. The program appears on the contextual right button menu for creating PAR2 files.
For dual processor CPUs the Default Priority settings should be at Normal. For single processor computers, the best is to set this operation to "Idle".
The user sets the Deletion Files adjusts for establishing if QuickPar must remove corrupt or incomplete files (after a completion of a repair operation), and send them to the Recycle Bin.
In addition, the user may set the Repair and Verification options if these functions are desired to be enabled by default.
The corrupt files will automatically repaired if the "AutoRepair" option is set.
After repairing or verifying the files, the user can create extra PAR2 files by pressing the Extra button. The application displays the dialogue for creating PAR2 files (only showing how many new recovery blocks to be set).

Traders of lossless compressed audio files (e.g. ape, flac, mkw, or shn files) have to handle a lot of different applications to decode, encode, create/verify checksums, fix sector boundary errors, or create torrent files. Moreover most of the tools used are command-line programs requiring a deeper knowledge of how to use various parameters. Trader's Little Helper bundles the most important features of those applications in one single easy-to-use frontend.
Features
- Encoding of wav files to ape, flac, shn and mp3 format
- Re-encoding of flac files
- Decoding of ape, flac, mkw, shn, mp2 and mp3 files to wav format
- Direct conversion of ape, flac, mkw and shn files to flac or mp3 format
- Test of audio files encoded in ape, flac, shn and mkw format
- Verification of cfp, ffp, md5, sfv and st5 checksum files
- Creation of cfp, ffp, md5, sfv and st5 checksum files
- Display of audio file properties (ape, flac, shn, mkw and wav files)
- Fixing of sector boundary errors that come with ape, flac, shn, mkw, wav and mp3 files
- Removal of extra RIFF chunks in audio files
- Rewriting of WAVE headers to canonical format
- Creation of skt files for non-seekable shn files
- Test of wav files for mp3 source
- Creation of torrent files
- Display of the information encoded in torrent files
- Hashing of torrent files against local filesets or files
- Drag & Drop functionality for all supported file types

TeraCopy is an application that aids the movement of files within Windows. Every Windows user has probably realized what a nightmare it is to move several files from any given location to another location and how slow the whole process is. There have been fixes released to fix that problem, but it is still there.
TeraCopy makes the copying and moving of files a more enjoyable experience. It manages to speed up the movement of files considerably and it also adds several functions that are not present by default on Windows. When you are copying files with TeraCopy you will notice that you are given more information than before. You get a list of files that are being moved or copied and each file has its own size and status. This is important since if a file fails copying, you don't have to copy them all again, you can just retry with the failed file. Also, there are two CRC fields. Those allow you to compare the CRC markers of the files on their original folders and when moved or copied. If the CRC changes, then you might have corruption problems, and the end file will be not playable. TeraCopy also shows 2 progress bars, one for each particular file and an overall one. When the files are done copying or moving, you can have TeraCopy shutdown the system.
