What is snp file? How to open snp files?

File type specification:

Graphics file type icon Graphics file type

The SNP file extension is associated with the ComputerEyes and used for its video animation files.

ComputerEyes was an early digitizing/scanning system made by Digital Vision, Inc. for personal computers including the Apple II series, Apple Macintosh and IBM PC. It was one of the first video products available for a low-cost home computer. There were various models but the most popular consisted of an external box that plugged into an RS-232 or Centronics port on the PC version and the game port on the Apple. It had a composite video interface for connecting a video camera and produced a 280x192 pixel black and white image in about 5 seconds.

Help how to open SNP files:

This file type is not meant to be opened directly, there is no software that could open and work with it directly, or there is no information available in public sources about opening this file type. This is usually the case of some internal data files, caches, temporary files etc.

How to convert file with extension SNP:

As far as we know, this .snp file type can't be converted to any other file format. This is usually the case of system, configuration, temporary, or data files containing data exclusive to only one software and used for its own purposes. Also some proprietary or closed file formats cannot be converted to more common file types in order to protect the intellectual property of the developer, which is for example the case of some DRM-protected multimedia files.
