File type: Various data file
A tr0 file extension identifies output from a SPICE circuit simulation. A tr0 file contains the results of a transient analysis, which shows how circuit values change over time.

The tr0 file extension is associated with SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) circuit simulation software developed by National Instruments Corporation for Microsoft Windows.
A tr0 file stores transient-analysis results, such as simulated voltage and current values at successive points in time. It is an output file produced by the simulator rather than a circuit-design or source file.
The exact contents and encoding depend on the SPICE implementation that created the file. The extension is implementation-specific, so compatibility with other SPICE programs and viewers may vary.
Open a tr0 file with the SPICE software that created it, or with a compatible SPICE results viewer. Because the file is simulator-specific, other SPICE programs may not read it correctly.
A general text editor is not normally suitable for viewing the simulation results in their intended form.
There is no universal converter for tr0 files. If the creating SPICE program supports data export, use it to save the transient-analysis results as text, CSV, or another supported numerical format.
Otherwise, the file generally must remain in its original SPICE format for use with the compatible simulator or viewer.
