File extension wallet is used by one of the variants of Globe 3 ransomware that appeared in in April 2017. The whole suffix added to the encrypted files is actually .[[email protected]].wallet, but Windows recognizes only the last part as extension.

Note: Also used by a variant CryptoMix ransomware which appeared in early May 2017.

The only way to access the original files is to use a decrypter - if it exists.
