WMGA files are used for manga comics created with Manga Creator, a graphical editor that can create and edit MGA and WMGA documents. The format is intended for web-based manga rather than for a self-contained comic archive.
A WMGA file is essentially a ZIP file containing an XML-structured document. The document does not embed the manga's image resources; instead, its pages refer to images through HTTP links.
Manga Creator and Manga Reader are Microsoft Windows programs associated with the format. Because the pages depend on linked online images, a WMGA file may not display correctly if those resources are unavailable.
Open the .wmga file with Manga Reader on Microsoft Windows to read the comic. Manga Creator can open and edit WMGA documents.
Although a WMGA file is packaged as a ZIP file, opening it as an archive only exposes its XML document and does not provide the intended manga-reading view.
Manga Creator can create and edit WMGA documents, but no specific conversion method is documented for this format.
Because WMGA files refer to image resources through HTTP links instead of embedding them, converting the package alone may not produce a self-contained comic.
