XPower allows you to analyze total device power, power per-net, routed, partially routed or unrouted designs. XPower provides a comprehensive graphical user interface (GUI), or command-line driven batch-mode. XPower can read HDL simulation data to quickly set estimation stimulus, reducing setup time.
At the beginning of the design process, XPower provides a "New Design Wizard", a step-by-step dialog which helps users import design and simulation data, and set loading and default data.
XPower utilizes device knowledge and design data to estimate device power and individual net power utilization. Information is presented in both HTML and ASCII report formats.
- New Design Wizard
- VCD simulation file import for ModelSim, Cadence Verilog XL, NC-Verilog, NC-VHDL, and NC-SIM, and Synopsys VCS and Scirocco
- Graphic and ASCII report data
- Device data read directly from Xilinx layout files
- Save and recall setup data
- Recognizes small voltage variations on VCC
