Files with zam extension are used by ZTreeWin application. They include some console scripts created by the users.

The zam file extension is associated with the ZTreeWin. A .zam file is used exclusively by ZTreeWin - it contains a hierarchical collection of console scripts created or collected by users. Initially ZTree supported a single menu file, ZTW_MENU.DAT. Then the name of this file changed to ZTW.ZAM. In addition, the user can now create and maintain any number of menu (.ZAM) files, adding a level of flexibility that did not exist in XTree.
Files with zam extension are not meant to be opened manually by the user.
The zam extension files are not openable.
