File extension zlas is mostly known to be used for a special, proprietary variant of optimized (compressed) LiDAR files. It was introduced by ESRI in 2013 despite the popularity of open source LAZ format.
Apparently, only ESRI software can work with these optimized files.
Probably can be converted to other formats using ESRI software.
