File extension zzzzz is since November 2016 used as a new suffix for the Locky ransomware that previously used zepto,locky and odin extensions.
The user infected by the zzzzz Locky variant may witness ransom notes and “instructions” in a text file and as the typical Grey/Pink Locky wallpaper.
