The default video editing project of Filmora is saved as .wve file. It is a small file (about couple of hundreds of kilobytes) stored as a simple text and formatted in XML file format. It contains references to multimedia sources (videos, audio data) as well as settings of transitions, filters, overlays, elements, split screens, audio, texts included in videos and more.
