The bdd file extension is related to BRender (abbreviation of Blazing Renderer), a development toolkit and real-time 3D graphics engine for computer games, simulators and graphic tools. It was developed and licensed by now defunct Argonaut Software.
The engine had support for Intel's MMX instruction set and it supported Microsoft Windows, MS-DOS and Sony PlayStation platforms. Support for 3D hardware graphics accelerator cards was added.

Carmageddon is violent car racing computer game released in 1997 for DOS and later ported for Windows and gaming consoles. The overall objective is to race all the way to the top, collecting the opponents' cars on the way as trophies (and possibly replacements to his vehicle). In the race itself the player tries to damage opponents by driving into them, and can also kill pedestrians (in censored version were pedestrians replaced by zombies with green blood).
