Software that can be used for conversion of bpn file type to dwg format.
As far as we know, the only way how to convert .bpn files to .dwg files, would be to recover the .bpn backup using ArchiCAD and export it to DWG format using the default Export/Save as.. function. This looks like to be the only viable bpn to dwg conversion we know of.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

Files with bpn extension can be mainly found as project backups from the ArchiCAD 3D modeling software.
DWG
A dwg file extension is used for standard CAD file format, originally used by AutoCAD. A DWG is a proprietary format and can only be created in AutoCAD. Other CAD programs can usually import it but not create its proprietary form. Because of this, DWGs are often exported to DXF interchange format so that they can be seamlessly used in other CAD programs.
A dwg file extension is related to the BravoDRAFT an old CAD tool. A dwg file stores CAD drawing. It is not compatible with AutoCAD DWG format.
