As far as we know, it's not possible to convert old .cnv files from previous Microsoft Word to newer .doc documents, because a .cnv file contains no document data, just a dynamic library for the actual text conversion in old versions of Word. You can only convert document to document, which means cnv to doc conversion is not feasible.
