Find a software converter able to convert crypt12 files to jpeg files.
Many users are looking for a way to export pictures from WhatsApp archives (for example .crypt12 files), because they assume that pictures that were send via WhatsApp are saved in the backups.
Unfortunately, this is not the case as pictured send via WhatsApp are saved in the Media/WhatsApp Images folder and then linked to the default Android Gallery.
Thus, you cannot get any pictures out of .crypt12, you have to look in the WhatsApp folders. If you have new phone, or had to do factory reset, it is likely that these pictures were lost, unless you made a full phone backup when around the time the pictures were received in WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
