Find a software converter able to convert crypt12 files to mp4 files.
Considering no multimedia data (like .mp4 file) are saved (encrypted) in WhatsApp backups (.crypt12), a crypt12 to mp4 conversion does not really make much sense.
When a video is saved via WhatsApp, the user is prompted to pick the destination folder and it is where you will find the video. If it was deleted, there is no way to recover it, unless you have full phone backup that was done around the time the video was received through WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

An mp4 file extension is typically used for MPEG-4 multimedia files defined by ISO 14496-1 standard. Commonly used for video and movie files and supported by vast number of media players.
