Possible software with support for converting of crypt14 files to crypt file format.
Unfortunately crypt14 to crypt conversion is no longer possible. You can find utilities that worked for the previous crypt12 format, but they no longer work for crypt14 meaning there is no way how to recover encrypted chat history backup without the encryption key.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
This conversion entry was verified by us and conversion from crypt14 to crypt was flagged as wrong or not possible.
Usually this happens when the conversion would try to convert different types of data between each other, such as audio to image, or it can't be done because incompatibility between programs, caused by closed file formats, very limited support or by other problems.

CRYPT
Files with crypt extension are most likely best known as chat history backups made from WhatsApp messaging app.
Files with crypt file extension may also be found as encrypted and renamed archives affected by the "Scatter" ransomware.
