You can perhaps still convert old .crypt5 files from WhatsuApp to the base CRYPT format, provided WhatCrypt Tools still support it. Current version of WhatsApp used CRYPT 12 files, so this conversion is more or less obsolete unless you have found WhatsApp backups that are 5+ years old. Nonethless crypt5 to crypt conversion should be doable.
