It should be possible to import .csv file to Numbers app either via direct open function or with the drag and drop method. Just be mindful of your regional settings, as.csv files may use different separators based on the regions.
If your .csv has "wrong" separator for your settings, your best option is to open the file using text edit and replace the separator with the symbol you need for your regional settings.
