Generally speaking you can convert any CAD or 3D image file (like the .dae) to a picture (like .jpeg) but that will only create a static image of what you see and not something that could be further worked upon in a 3D software.
It may be also worth to check the dae to jpg conversion for more options as programs usually prefer the JPG extension over JPEG.
