Possible software with support for converting of dat files to docx file format.
In some very rare cases, it might be possible that certain .dat files are actually text files and thus could be converted to MS Word (.doc, .docx) like any other file.
But it's very hard to determine the contents of .dat files as most are binary. You can always try to open your .dat files in Notepad or similar text editor, but only try this if the file is small in size (kb) and see if there is anything worth converting. Except for that, we do not have any information about any possible dat to docx conversion at this time.
