Your best bet is to convert first Apple DMG images to ISO with one of the DMG to ISO converters. Then convert the resulting ISO to MDX format with ISO to MDX converter.

DMG

Files with dmg extension are almost always  disk images for Mac OS X (macOS). Replaced previously used IMG format, but work pretty much the same as standard ISO images.

Files with dmg file extension can also be found as binary dumps created by Oracle programs. Should not be confused with the common Mac OS X (macOS) disk image that also shares the DMG extension.

MDX

Files with mdx file extension are most often found as special disk image format similar to MDS/MDF used in Daemon Tools and Astroburn. No 3rd party applications are able to work with mdx files and only Daemon Tools and Astroburn are able to convert them to ISO files.

An mdx file extension is associated with the MDict a dictionary software. An mdx file stores dictionary data.

An mdx file extension is used by Microsoft SQL Severs for files that contain database indexes. Indexing is a feature of many database systems, that improve the speed of accessing the databases.

An mdx file extension is associated with computer games developed by Blizzard Entertainment. An mdx files stores 3D models.

Files with mdx file extension can also be found as some sort of midi sequence audio files for Sharp X68000 computer.
